INFORMATION FOR CLIENTS

To book an appointment, please use the Fresha link on the Bookings page. Please also complete the forms thereon, plus the GDPR form in this section.

Before you leave your home, please check your temperature, and consider if you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms. If the answer is “Yes”, please postpone or cancel your appointment. Please ensure that you do a Lateral Flow Test prior to your appointment. This also helps to keep YOU & Other Clients safe and the ongoing services from Taylored Massage, Tayside.

If you are a first-time client, completion of a Consultation form, a Data Protection form and a Covid form will be required.

If you are an existing client there will be a short update consultation – to see how you have been since your last appointment and whether you have any Covid-19 issues.

All consultation & consent documents must be completed and signed, and submitted 24 hours prior to your appointment. Please bring you own pen if you need one for signatures.

Please also bring your own refreshments – so we do not use any glassware. Please take any empty receptacles away with you for appropriate disposal/re-use.

Please arrive alone.  If you need assistance or a chaperone, please advise in advance and ensure they also have a face covering. For potential clients under 18 years old, express parental/guardian consent is required and for those under 16 years old, parental/guardian presence is also required during the treatment.

Please do not bring any bags into the clinic, and if possible, leave all coats, hats, scarves etc in the car, too.

When you arrive, it would be nice if you could wear a face covering, take off your shoes, sanitise your hands (air-drying them) – and walk into the clinic without touching anything.

Please wear easy to remove clothes. Please remove all jewellery prior to the appointment as this makes the process simpler.  Please wear shorts/big pants (thongs are not appropriate), and please would ladies wear a rear fastening bra, if they wear one.

The massage table will have been thoroughly disinfected. The linens are all clean and fresh for each client.

The therapist will be wearing a face covering. If you prefer, gloves, aprons, and visors are available for the therapist to wear. Please just advise on arrival.

When the massage is over, please leave all the linens, towels on the massage table. You may also wish to use the bathroom and wash your hands after you put your shoes back on. 

There will be an approximate 30-minute gap between clients, to enable disinfection of the clinic space, massage table and equipment, with enough time to dry and take effect, ready for the next client.

Please remember that these measures have been imposed on the industry due to COVID-19.  Please respect the business and wear a face mask (if possible) as requested for the health and safety of both you, the client and me, the therapist. Taylored Massage, Tayside reserves the right to refuse to treat anyone who is displaying symptoms of Covid-19.

 POLICIES

Cancellation/No Show Policy:

When you schedule an appointment, the time is reserved exclusively for you. Therefore, please, if you must cancel your appointment, 24 hours’ notice is required in order not to be charged a cancellation fee for the appointment.

If you are unexpectedly unable to make the appointment for any reason, please do let me know as soon as possible, before, during, or after the scheduled time.

Late Policy:


If you are late for your appointment Taylored Massage cannot guarantee that you will receive your full appointment time due to other scheduled appointments. However you will still be charged for the time that was held for your appointment. If you are over 15 minutes late it may be necessary to reschedule and you may be charged a 25% re-booking fee.
